The Jackson Chamber of Commerce, The Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau, The City of Jackson and Downtown Jackson Partners recently hosted the Jackson Now Summit on Jan. 28 at the Jackson Convention Center. The program featured Jackson Mayor Harvey Johnson, The Lieutenant Governor Phil Bryant and Speaker of the House Billy McCoy. The purpose of the event was to showcase current developments in the city of Jackson as well as to show Legislators the progress that has been made with their support. This is the first time an event was held to educate the State Legislature on the progress and future development of their Capital City.
