The 2nd Annual SWEETS OF THE SOUTH Gala is set for Saturday, April 14. Come listen to fabulous music, enjoy the delectable food, and shop at the silent auction. It all begins at 7:00 p.m. at the South Pointe Business Park Atrium. Tickets are $40/person. Proceeds benefit the various projects that CCDF supports, such as Teacher Mini-Grants and the Community Grants. Click here to make your reservation.

Clinton Reads

In 2011, Clinton Public School District launched the Clinton Reads Project, a community-wide book drive. The CCDF has been selected to continue the project in 2012.
Collection of gently used and/or new children’s books begins February 10. Books may be delivered to the following locations:
  • Baptist Healthplex
  • Copiah Bank
  • Merchants & Farmers Bank
  • Clinton Park Elementary
  • Northside Elementary
  • Eastside Elementary
  • Lovett Elementary
  • Clinton Jr. High
  • Sumner Hill Jr. High
  • Clinton High School

Collection ends Monday, April 30. Books will be distributed to students in Kindergarten through 5th grade on May 21-22.

The CCDF is the only community foundation in Clinton, and we serve YOU the citizens of Clinton. Our mission is to support projects that enhance the quality of life in our community. But we can only do this with support of our fabulous PARTNERS.

Mini-Grants available for Teachers in Clinton
Teachers in Clinton Schools (public or private) are eligible to apply for a mini-grant of up to $250 through the CCDF. Funds are used for curriculum enhancement purposes.
In 2011, the CCDF awarded 28 teachers over $6900.
